This pattern is for a fun beginner-friendly Tunisian crochet kids scarf. The Polar Pup Scarf if the perfect Tunisian crochet scarf for your little one to cozy up for this winter! You can make it shorter or continue for a few more inches to make it longer. The polar pup pockets add a super cute and cozy touch!
About the Inspiration for this Crochet Animal Scarf Pattern:
My inspiration comes from winter-themed children’s clothes which usually have a polar bear on them. The moment I saw the Caron Latte Cake and Lion Brand Go For Faux yarn together in these colors, I knew they would pair perfectly for a winter crochet child scarf pattern! I tried a few different safety eyes and a nose that just didn’t look right so then I decided embroidery was the way to go! I’m very happy with the way this Tunisian crochet pattern turned out. The Lattice Stitch is becoming one of my favorite Tunisian crochet stitches (after Honeycomb of course!)
If you’re looking for a fun crochet skirt pattern to work on, I have just the pattern for you! I created this skirt with some left-over yarn I had. I intended it to be a simple color block skirt so the only stitch used is the Tunisian simple stitch for the skirt itself. Then I decided it would be nice to have some ribbing at the top for a drawstring closure. Before I finished up the skirt, I had an idea to add some textured afterthought pockets and I think that is my favorite part of the design! The Tunisian honeycomb stitch is my absolute favorite of all the Tunisian crochet stitches. I also added some picot edging to add a touch of fancy.
I love that this skirt can be dressed up or down and can be made in any color combination! The best part is that this pattern is easy enough that it can be completed by people who are just getting started with Tunisian crochet!

This pattern uses a few Tunisian crochet techniques. Use the following video tutorials as needed:
Fold in half with the wrong side out and whip st the short edges together and follow assembly as shown in this video tutorial. Weave in all loose ends.
Assembly: Weave yarn in and out through the stitches at the top and pull to cinch closed. Weave yarn to the other side. Fill lightly with stuffing. Mark each Tunisian simple stitch band with a stitch marker. Cinch this side closed in the same way as the other side leaving a small hole. Wrap yarn tightly around mirroring Tunisian simple stitch bands weaving yarn through the center as you go, repeat twice. Place a cinnamon stick in the hole and cinch tight. Tie some twine to add a rustic touch. Make sure to watch this video tutorial to get a better idea of how to do this.

My Tunisian Honeycomb Kitchen Set design is officially published In this month’s @happilyhookedmagazine issue which is centered around housewarming gift designs! It is a super fun Tunisian crochet mindless make and you end up with a gorgeous set for your home! I also incorporated a bit of twine for a farmhouse touch! It has been hard keeping this one a secret because I loved how it turned out. It is made with a Size M/13 9 mm hook with a 12 in. cord (check out my favorite hook set here) and Bernat Maker Home Decor Yarn. Of all the tunisian crochet stitches, I LOVE the honeycomb stitch because it looks good on any type of yarn and color and is full of texture! Another thing is that the honeycomb stitch doesn’t cause curling like the Tunisian simple stitch does.
This crochet table runner was inspired by a gift idea I had for my mom last year! She needed a runner to cover the top of a new cabinet she got for the kitchen so she could place items on top without it getting dirty. So I thought I’d crochet a cover for her. The cover idea turned into this beautiful table runner and I couldn’t be happier!

This is a beginner level Tunisian crochet pattern that you can complete in a few hours. The pattern uses bulky yarn and works up super quick and makes for a perfect gift for the little ones in your life. You can make it with Bernat Blanket yarn and Lion Brand Yarn Go For Faux.
Initially, I made this bunny with Michael’s Sweet Snuggles yarn which is a super soft and squishy yarn. I liked the overall look but found it to be a bit bulky and the yarn is not easily accessible. It would also require a larger hook.
I decided to try it with Bernat Blanket yarn since Bernat blanket is a more accessible and readily available yarn and I love how it turned out! The finished bunny measures 18 inches from ears to feet and 10 inches across from one arm to the other arm.
I have divided the following steps into three parts in videos I have uploaded to YouTube.
Make the face and embroider with size 4 worsted weight yarn in a contrasting color.
Continue making the neck and body.
Continue making a mirror image of the neck and body (so it will be one long piece that will be folded over and sewn while stuffing with polyfill).
Make legs with the Bernat Blanket yarn.
Crochet arms and sew onto the body.
Work ears and weave in all ends!
You will learn how to:
-Tunisian crochet foundation row and Tunisian Simple Stitch -Increase stitches in Tunisian crochet -Decrease stitches in Tunisian crochet -Embroider a face onto a crochet project -Make a pom pom -Make a magic circle and crochet in rounds
Join me for this fun 3-part crochet bunny series! It’s the perfect chance to practice some Tunisian crochet stitches! If you like this pattern, you may enjoy some of my other Tunisian crochet patterns – Tunisian Samplerpillar or the Creamsicle Crochet Baby Blanket pattern.

Finished Size:
The finished ear warmer size is 3 in. wide by 10.5 in. in length when laid flat (doubled over), fits head circumference of 21.5 in.
The ear warmer can be adjusted by doing more or less rows of TSS before adding the surface bobbles..
Pattern Notes:
This pattern is for an easy textured chunky Tunisian crochet ear warmer made with 100% wool! The best part is that it can be made with a regular hook and is worked flat. It’s the perfect beginner-friendly project to get started with Tunisian crochet!
This pattern uses a few Tunisian crochet techniques. Use the following video tutorials as needed:
Row 1 (Foundation Row): Pick up a loop in the back bump of each chain. Complete normal RetP. (7 sts)
Row 2 to 36: TSS across (7 sts). (or continue Tss across for the length needed to match your head circumference) For reference, my head circumference is 21.5 inches: and I continued the Tss rows for 20 inches. Leaving a long tail,, cut yarn (approximately 8 to 10 inches). This tail will be used later for seaming up the ear warmer.
Starting at one end of the ear warmer, count 2 rows up and count to the 4th stitch (this will be the center stitch). With Color B Make Bo in this st. Moving vertically, skip 1 st, sl st into next st and make Bo in the same st. Refer to this video for how to make a surface bobble st. Continue making bobbles until there is only 1 st remaining. Leaving a 6 in. tail, cut yarn. Weave in end on the backside of ear warmer. With the wrong side facing you, join the ends of the ear warmer together with whip st or using your preferred method of seaming using the tail left at the beginning. Turn right side out and enjoy your finished make!
