I love the pop of texture this braided cable knit stitch gives against the purl stitches. The alternating knit and purl stitches really create a beautiful design. The winding nature of these stitches reminds me of vines hence the name Sunny Vines Square!

Although I don’t celebrate the holidays, I love crocheting and knitting gifts for my friends who do celebrate. Every year, I say I am going to make conscious decisions to start my gift crocheting early, narrow down the recipients to a number I know I can handle, and not have any crafting stress around the holidays.
Every year I make a liar out of myself. But what do I want to do the second the last dish is put away and the last snack devoured for the day? Crochet something new JUST FOR ME!
I am apparently not alone in this sentiment, so I joined 40 of my crochet designer colleagues and created the Crochet for Me Bundle. It’s chock full of 56 individual patterns, never before offered in a bundle or for free, that will give you a wide range of patterns that will suit you from head to toe.
The Crochet for Me bundle has 56 patterns for the types of projects we all want to make for ourselves, designed by more than 40 of your very favorite designers – including me. It contains projects you’ll love, from head (ear warmers and hats) to toe (socks and slippers) with a few stops along the way (sweaters, shawls and even a skirt!). You getall 56 patterns PLUS a selection of more than 20 cool additional discounts for the low, low price of $27 – less than 50 cents a pattern.
The crochet for me bundle includes my latest pattern the Lookin’ Swell ear warmer. This pattern is for a knit-like beginner-friendly Tunisian crochet ear warmer in toddler, child, and adult sizes that can be completed in 1 hour. It’s the perfect ear warmer to practice the basic Tunisian knit stitch! A huge thank you to my testers: @mickylathemaker, @sarahsyarn, @made_with_love_by_steffi, @burst_of_creativiti, @miashimo
The best part is that the Lookin’ Swell Ear Warmer is a one-skein project and works up super fast. You can even make a matching one for your little ones as well.
Want to see what else is included in the Crochet for Me Bundle?
But the offer is only available through December 31, 2020, 11:59 PM Eastern, and it absolutely will not be extended nor repeated.

If you purchased these patterns individually they would cost you well over $200. And by buying from a coalition of designers like this instead of a huge publisher, you know that your money is going where it’s needed – into the pockets of your favorite designers so they can keep on creating the patterns you love to make.
If all of that is not enough to convince you you need this bundle here’s one more great thing. Once you gain access to the patterns you ALSO get a file with extra discount codes for additional products offered by some of our amazing designer friends. AND if you purchase through my link and send me a copy of the receipt, I will send you another coupon code for ONE more free pattern from my collection! And there’s a 15-day money-back guarantee so you have absolutely nothing to lose.
So spend some of that holiday cash, support the community that you love, then put your feet up and crochet or knit something fabulous for yourself as you watch 2020 go out the door! You deserve it!

I was so thrilled when one of my favorite Instabloggers, The Inspired Accountant, put out a call for a series of home DIY blog posts! I knew I had to share this fun crafty tutorial that anyone can do! Anam is a Toronto based blogger who shares tips for managing life as a working mom of two. She is a chartered accountant by profession and is the founder of her latest business venture: My Inspired Home (a collection of modern accessories inspired by Islamic and Eastern culture).
Anam is not only a creative and inspiring blogger, I always love following her stories because she is also genuine and shares insightful thoughts around mindfulness and spirituality. I have been following her work for a couple of years now and I love that she always has something useful to share with her followers. Did I also mention she has a beautiful voice?! Yup, she sings too!
As part of this feature, I will be sharing what a pom pom maker is and where you can get one, a yarn pom pom tutorial, and finally, how to assemble the pom pom garland.
