I know fur yarn can be intimidating to crochet with so I have a blog post + video tutorial taking you through how to Tunisian crochet with fur yarn, you can find it here. Look over it and get familiar and then come back and make this easy crochet rug!

Materials:

Yarn: Knit Picks Fable Fur Yarn in Eisbar – 3 skeins (approximately 213 yards) (Size 6 Super Bulky weight; 100g/ 71 yds; 100% polyester).

Alternatively, you can also use Lion Brand Go Faux Fur but I’m not sure the final measurements will be the same since the go faux fur is a little thicker than the fable fur yarn. You may need more yardage to complete the project.

Hook: US 13 9.0 mm Tunisian crochet hook with 24 in. cord and stopper, grab my favorite Denise Interchangeables set here.

Gauge:
6 sts x 7 rows for 4 x 4 in. square in Tunisian simple stitch

Abbreviations:

Ch – Chain
Tss – Tunisian simple stitch
St(s) – Stitch(es)
RetP – Return pass (explained below)

Notions:

Finished Measurement: 17.5 in. x 30 in.
