INSPIRATION FOR THIS CROCHET BUNNY PATTERN

This design idea came from a fun campaign by Hobbii Yarns! If you search the hashtag #EasterCraftsWithHobbii on Instagram, you’ll see all the beautiful Easter crochet projects!

Thanks for sending this super fluffy yarn! I used the Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn to make a super cute bunny pouf! It’s super soft and cuddly and I loved working with this yarn!

So this project initially started off as a basket and then evolved into a bag and finally its is now a pouf. I honestly made the panels too big and it wasn’t working out! But I am happy with how it turned out and it’s a versatile project with many uses and I love how to the front panel turned out. It’s also the first time I added real blush to a project to give it those cute cheeks!

I am also excited to announce an epic giveaway by @hobbii_yarn for this challenge!! Share your versions of my basket and be sure to use the hashtag #EasterCraftsWithHobbii and tag @hobbii_yarn on April 8th for a chance to win a Hobbii Friends yarn delivery including 20 skeins of Cotton 8/4, 8/6, or 8/8 in the winners’ favorite colors. There will be a total of 3 winners and they will be announced and reposted in the @hobbii_yarn Instagram feed on April 12th. The giveaway ends on April 8th 5:59 PM (EST) so be sure to enter!

A huge thanks to We Crochet for generously providing yarn support for this design! I absolutely loved working with the Tuff Puff yarn. It definitely was an arm workout but well worth it! If you prefer an easier yarn, you could go with the Mighty Stitch Super Bulky although the texture and feel may vary as the Mighty Stitch Super Bulky is not a 100% wool yarn.

Tunisian Crochet Patterns Ravelry – The Story Behind The Design

If you're looking for a crochet pillow pattern easy level, you're in the right place! This Tunisian Luxe Pillow is great for any room and works up quick!

There’s a really funny story behind how this chunky crochet pillow cover design came about! I was visiting my cousin in Oklahoma in Fall of last year. It was around the time my cousin (her brother) and his wife had their baby shower. We went out for some last-minute errands the day before the baby shower. Of course, we had to make a stop at Michael’s because I needed a fur pom to complete my nephew’s bonnet (a blue version of my Silver Lining Bonnet)!

In my defense, my cousin also needed some things for the baby shower! So there we were at Michael’s and I was taking my sweet time browsing the aisles. She spotted this Loops & Threads Sweet Snuggles yarn. She kept squishing it and saying “it’s just SO soft.” I couldn’t agree more, it really was so soft and snuggly!

So we picked it up and I told her I’ll make something for her. After the baby shower, she was planning on moving to Houston from Oklahoma for work. She had never lived anywhere other than Oklahoma so it was a big change for her! I wanted to give her something that she could decorate her new place with and feel at home.

Story Continued

A little bit of background: my cousin was my first frenemy sis (cuz let’s face it sister’s fight often). She’s the first person I knew when I came to America from overseas. She’s also the one who taught me the American ways (i.e., snacking while binging on Nick Jr. shows after school). My cousin is also the one who pushed me to start this little business of mine. So needless to say she has a very special place in my heart (Love you cuzzo!). So this design means a lot to me and I hope it does to her too!

If you're looking for a crochet pillow pattern easy level, you're in the right place! This Tunisian Luxe Pillow is great for any room and works up quick!

While she was packing at 2 AM a couple of days before her move, I was sitting there working this pillow up. When I was done I showed her both sides and she chose the wrong side to be displayed. I’m glad she did, it’s just so chunky and gives off serious cozy vibes! It’s the perfect crochet pillow pattern with vintage vibes.
