Crochet Baby Romper Pattern- Tunisian Tinsel Romper

This Tunisian crochet baby romper pattern will take you back in time to relive the 90s with the velvet and the bell bottom-like pant legs. The pocket adds a vintage touch with a hint of gold! Last year I sat down and created this piece with the intention of releasing the pattern in time for the holidays. However, I did not feel comfortable and confident enough with grading the different sizes and actually doing a test at that time.

It’s here! A crochet baby romper that I designed with Tunisian crochet beginner and advanced crocheters in mind!

When I started working on this design, I didn’t know if it would end up fitting an actual baby/kid. There is a serious lack of consistent sizing information around knit and crochet baby clothing, especially when it comes to pant sizes, so I did some digging to get all the measurements I needed! I persisted though because I had promised myself that I will release this crochet baby romper suit pattern before the year ends. A special shout out to my designer friend who also tested this pattern for me for helping out with sizing information thanks Bonnie from Woodland Stitchcraft!

Fast forward a year and I finally figured the math out! My testers did an amazing job! Check out their beautiful work!

So today, I present to you, my Tunisian Tinsel Romper pattern! This pattern comes in sizes 0-3 months all the way up to 5T (11” to 20” chest circumference). It is a loose-fitting Tunisian crochet baby romper pattern that is worked flat and seamed. The garment has 2 inches of positive ease. Instructions also show how to customize the length for each section.

The sizes are color-coded throughout the pattern for ease and video tutorials are linked throughout. Schematics show the different measurements included. There is also a full sizing chart along with written instructions. This is a super cute pattern perfect for holiday photos! It would also be a great baby shower gift or for a special occasion such as a birthday party, wedding, or a newborn photoshoot!
